A structured answer to a real sourcing problem
Make in Algeria exists to close a concrete gap between international buyers and Algerian manufacturers — not to tell a personal story.
Why Make in Algeria exists
Make in Algeria was created to answer a concrete, recurring problem — not to tell a personal story. It started from a simple observation, repeated across many conversations with buyers and manufacturers.
Hard to identify reliable manufacturers
International buyers repeatedly struggled to identify Algerian manufacturers they could trust, beyond a name and a phone number.
Limited visibility for industrials
Many Algerian industrial companies with real production capacity remained largely invisible to international markets.
No structured intermediary
Between these two groups, no structured intermediary existed to qualify requests, verify capabilities and manage the relationship responsibly.
Make in Algeria was built to close that gap.
What we are working to achieve
Facilitate industrial sourcing
Make sourcing from Algeria a structured, manageable process rather than a cold search.
Improve supplier qualification
Raise the standard of qualification and documentation before an introduction is made.
Foster durable relationships
Support commercial relationships built to last, not one-off, unqualified contacts.
Strengthen international visibility
Help genuinely export-ready Algerian industry become visible to the buyers who need it.
What guides how we work
Transparency
Pricing, process and limitations are stated upfront, not discovered later.
Professionalism
Structured communication and documentation at every stage of a mission.
Rigor
Suppliers are verified before they are introduced, not after.
Qualitative selection
We prioritize genuine fit over the number of contacts shared.
Independence
Our qualification decisions are not influenced by any single manufacturer or buyer relationship.
Continuous improvement
Our process is refined mission by mission, based on what actually works.
A trajectory, not a promise
Our long-term ambition is to make Make in Algeria a reference for industrial sourcing in Algeria, then to progressively extend this model to other African countries under the Make In Africa brand — while keeping the same standards of quality, transparency and selection. This is a direction we are working toward, not a specific timeline or outcome we are promising.
How we differ from other solutions
Stated factually — not as a comparison against any specific competitor.
Sourcing-first, not advertising
Our focus is managing sourcing missions, not selling visibility or ad placements.
Qualitative selection
We favor a well-qualified network over mass referencing of unverified contacts.
Structured methodology
The same staged process — qualify, verify, shortlist, introduce — applies to every mission.
Transparent about verification
We state clearly what level of verification was actually performed, not implied.
Local presence
On-the-ground coordination with Algerian manufacturers, not remote management alone.
Progressive approach
The depth of a mission is adapted to the risk and scale of each specific project.
We are committed to
Where we intend to go next
Development goals we are working toward — not features available today.
Broader sector coverage
Progressively expanding the industrial sectors we can cover.
A larger qualified network
Growing our network of qualified manufacturers over time.
Richer sector content
Enriching sector pages as more sourcing missions are completed.
Real case studies
Publishing genuine case studies once a track record exists to share.
Extension to Africa
Extending the model to other African countries, in line with our long-term vision.
